God loves you. Unconditionally.
He’s cares about you more than you’ll ever know.
He’s done everything to be with you.
In the Gospel of Luke, chapter 15, Jesus shares three parables to demonstrate God’s heart for you and me. Over the course of the next few days we’re going to look into Luke 15 where, together, we’ll discover the unending depths of grace, the unhindered passionate care, and the unconditional faithful love of The Father’s Heart.
Let’s set the scene. Luke 15 begins with this incredible backdrop:
All the tax collectors and sinners were approaching to listen to him. And the Pharisees and scribes were complaining, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
Luke 15:1-2 CSB
The juxtaposition is astounding. Sinners approached Jesus while religious leaders complained about Jesus. Isn’t that backwards? What’s more, the religious leaders complained about Jesus’ relationship with sinners… Wow.
Jesus attracted sinners because He lead them to His Father’s heart—a deep, refreshing well of lovingkindness, forgiveness, and purpose.
If you’re a sinner, like me, who needs to experience the Father’s heart, you are welcome here.
If you’re a “religious leader” who’s got it all together, you’ll probably want to move on.
Tomorrow we begin a journey to the center of the Father’s heart. If you dare to join, you will be transformed, not by words, but by the supernatural presence of your loving Heavenly Father.
